British PCP air rifle company Daystate has announced the release of a hunting and pest control version of its electronic action Alpha Wolf.
Priced at £2,075, the Alpha Wolf Shadow measures 731mm and weighs just over 3 kg. It is available now in 12ft/lb .177 and .22 calibres with high-power versions in development.
Sold with a fitted hard case, the rifle shares the same electronic interface as the Alpha Wolf SMART models, including the ability to adjust power settings and many other functions via a touchscreen. As a result, although the Alpha Wolf Shadow is not fitted with a chronograph as standard, it can be modified at accept one.
Standard features include a ‘Grey Shadow’ stock, 300cc carbon-wrapped air bottle, V3 Optic Race rail, Gecko butt pad, BRK MF-121 moderator and a 17” Lothar Walther barrel.
Tony Belas of Daystate explains: “The Alpha Wolf Shadow’s short length and super pointable handling, combined with a sophisticated and proven electronic action and unerring accuracy, make it ideal for hunting and pest control, especially in confirmed spaces like farm buildings, vehicles and hides.”
