More than 250 airgun shooters descended on Sandon Hall in Staffordshire for the BRK (Brocock) and Daystate Experience Days event on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th July.
With the companies’ entire stable of rifles in action on 11 lanes over the two days, including high power versions of the Alpha Wolf, Black Wolf and Ghost, over 10,000 pellets were sent down range at more than 200 targets out to 120 metres.
When they weren’t shooting, enthusiasts were treated to talks and presentations on topics including the history of gun development at Daystate and Brocock, as well as rifle tuning workshops from Sub 12 Airgunners and the companies’ own gunsmiths.
Hunters were accommodated with presentations on ‘Camouflage and Concealment’ and ‘How To Win A Permission’ from Airgun Extra’s Mat Manning and Rich Saunders. And there was plenty for competition shooters too, thanks to specialist accessory company PRS and demonstrations by Extreme Benchrest experts Chris Jensen and world champion Lauren Parsons. The event also included breakfast and lunch for attendees and the option to join the BRK and Daystate team for a lavish three-course meal on the Thursday night.
Prize draws saw lucky winners walk away with a just-launched BRK Ghost SE and a walnut stocked Daystate Blackwolf, as well as a host of other prizes, including MTC Optics scopes. And as if that wasn’t enough, everyone went home with a goody bag worth more than £150.
Tony Belas of BRK and Daystate said: “The 2025 BRK and Daystate and Experience was a resounding success, and I would like to pass my congratulations to the 35 Daystate and BRK staff that were involved in organising and putting it on, as well as the 250 visitors who came determined to enjoy themselves. They really made it a wonderful couple of days. It couldn’t have gone better”.
Airgun Extra’s Mat Manning added: “I didn’t think last year’s experience days could be topped, but this year’s event was bigger and better. All credit to the BRK and Daystate team because I know a lot of hard work went into organising the two days.
“The venue was amazing, everything ran smoothly, Thursday's dinner was great and – most importantly – the event attracted a brilliant crowd of airgun shooters who all really enjoyed themselves. Rich and I are glad to have been a part of it.”
